    new timer

I've just got a new process timer and can't wait to take it home for the darkroom. It's all red LED, liquid resistant plastic covered, stainless steel. It should fit right in in the darkroom.

This is some sort of commercial kitchen timer for multitasking. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804749238159.html

Traditionally I used a simple lcd kitchen timer for darkroom developing timing that I have to stop and reset between steps with potentially wet hands. I use a combiplan tank, so I don't need darkness for developing.

I can program in 6 separate countdown clocks and start any of them by pressing the button on the right that goes with that clock.

step1, a time for prewash,, step 2 developer, step 3 rinse, step 4 fix, step 5 and 6 maybe unrelated timers for printing such as dektol and fixer?

It saves what I program in when unplugged.

    "Basket shake reminder" for agitation!

Doesn't look like it can auto-sequence the clocks, so not quite a GraLab 900. But on the other hand, more convenient than the 900 in that you don't need to hit multiple buttons to recall a particular channel - each one is right there with a dedicated button to trigger it. Very nice, let us know how it works out.

On occasion I noticed there is real life outside the GG/viewfinder.

I have an identical looking one with 4 timers. Works great.

I'm also installing an LCD kitchen timer. It's quite convenient.

    Just an update...
I'm back into the darkroom after recovering from a bad fall and subsequent broken kneecap and surgery this spring..
I ran new and old timers while developing film..
    It works awesome...

I don't ever mess up processing film.. I equate it to doing laundry or making coffee; the same consistent thing every time. But today I forget part B of my pyrocat hdc mix.... Oops.. Three empty rolls of 120 film. Nothing to show for my work today, but it got me back in the darkroom. I guess I got out of practice. When things dry out, I'll load up the tanks and do better.

    I have clocks everywhere

    Love Time

At work we used 24 normal time, meaning the clock dial was 24 hour

    I prefer ZULU

    The company was from 1924

I can accurately count in my head in DR for film
