    Hello new old guy

Just a quick intro. Been into photography all my life, closed up my darkroom when digital came along and now that I've retired and have in a way gotten tired of digital have decided to open up a darkroom and go large format and see what I've been missing. Looking forward to catching up on the forum and hope that someday I may be able to contribute.

Welcome aboard! Looking forward to your contributions and glad you've joined our little forum.
Some fantastic photographers here & we most always have a helpful attitude.
BTW Seems your not alone in digital getting boring to some degree

Welcome! This is, over all, the best forum I have found. Inspiring work appearing regularly and a depth of technical knowledge that continues to astound me. I returned to my photography passion about 5 yrs ago and have been assisted many times over hurdles, frustrating anomalies, stupid mistakes, and so forth, while also learning valuable new-to-me procedures for LF work.

Digital is nice. But nothing like hand holding a print eh? For me, hand holding an print from my Epson is almost as good as handling fiber prints.

Welcome back to the world of film photography! I'm rejoining as well after a nearly twenty year hiatus.
