It says 80mm was made as prototype.
Is there any serial number on the lens?
If so, it might be on the Thiele’s book.
The same thing is mentioned in Arne’s paper on p16.

I contacted Makino who runs the website you suggested. He says he is interested in the lens and as luck has it he is selling his own Ultragon 60mm prototype lens... https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp...on/x1083943543
2 Prototype Ultragons available at the same time wow...
Oh yes, he seems to like to do catch and release.
He likes to study rather than collect lenses.
Very interesting. I have saved Arne's document with the patent number for the Ultragon. I'm interested to see what this looks like, and see if I can analyse the patent.
The US Patent number for the 115mm Ultragon is 2,670,659 not 2,670,649 as per Arne's reference no.24.
Sadly I don't think Arne is around here anymore...
