I have not yet learned the method to REMOVE these cursed knobs

When I gathered my pile, nobody wanted these cameras, German Museums have junk last I looked 10 years ago

    Plastic dries out and fails

My even older tube radios do the same thing

We need a very old LINHOF repairman

I don't, as I have 3 complete cameras working fine

It seems you have enough now

Do you have a correct tripod and head?

I made a 90mm alu disc to fit LINHOF and use a very heavy duty Majestic head

    More pics!

I have posted everything on this forum, but the forum takes a lot of human search

Is your goal collecting or usage?

    Goal is usage.!
A broken tripod [058] multiblitz and no head. I am in the process of studying to make a wooden one [???] or tiring to find one linhoff like the one you have in the photo.

When you are inspecting the camera, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, check the bellows for any light leaks. Shine a flashlight inside the camera with the bellows closed and look for any visible light coming through. Secondly, check the movements on the camera, including the front and rear standards, the lens board, and the rail system. Make sure that all movements are smooth and without any hitches. Thirdly, check the condition of the lens board and make sure it fits well onto the front standard. Fourthly, check the condition of the lens and the shutter. Lastly, check the condition of the ground glass and make sure it is clear and free of scratches.

If possible, ask the seller for a test shoot to see how the camera performs. Overall, the Linhoff Kardan color 8x10 is a great camera, but like any used camera, it's important to inspect it carefully to ensure that it's in good working condition.

Very excited to see pics of yours

Yes, I have a couple standards with black knobs, no idea if early or late

The first prototype was very fancy with gimbal rail clamp standards

I spotted one used in a Fred Astaire Movie 'Funny Face' with Audrey Hepburn

It was mounted on a huge Saltzman Tripod

I just bought a new DVD of it for $6 delivered

    Fun movie and fashion
