    Now THIS is ULF

We have seen this sort of thing before, but this guy seems to be less about "look what I have done" and more about the images and getting them.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

Looks like 12x20? Trailer could be just a darkroom with a dedicated 12x20 camera for more flexibility/better logistics - but likely would not have the attention-getting uniqueness of the "Trailer-Cam." Then again...this guy seems pretty genuine in his "quest."

There was another guy with a trailer camera - making images on the order of 4X6 feet? Now that's worth writing home about - so long as the results can equal the effort! But do they? Is this a case of the novelty and effort of this approach superseding all else? Not sure how I feel about this.

Yes, that is Dennis Manarchy's project......there are a number of theards on this this site for this

http://www.manarchy.com/ this is his site with a link to BIG CAMERA but the project has gone quite now. Too bad.

There are many nice trailer type camera projects but for the most part they did not seem to compare well to Dennis' project. His work is truely remarkable

Some shots seem to show a lens on the outside of the enclosure.

Othere sequences show him backing ithe trailer nto a shooting position.

Then again...there are those times when genuine, well found passion leads to a giant itch that, no matter what - just needs to be scratched. To this I say...yes, go for it! Torpedoes be dammed!

The Ian Ruhter video is more than just another wet-plate video. It is a work of art.
