    Blower- Exhausted fan for DeVere 108.

    Hello Everyone,
    I am setting up my 10x10 Fotar with a DeVere 108 2000w color head. I need a blower. Does anyone have any information on the motor, cfm, outside dimensions of the box? Any information would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Shane Knight

    You could probably apply the formula used for calculating fan sizes for Computer CPUs based on TDP (basically the same as light bulb watts)

    CFM = 3.16 * Watts / Delta_T_degrees_F

    Say room temperature is 72F, target temp in the enlarger is 90F, light bulb watts is 2000 watts.

    CFM = 3.16 * 2000 / (90 - 72) = 351CFM

    Some computer case fans are rated at around 200CFM, so a couple of those would probably suffice.

    Maybe the DeVere users will chme in, but I can share the setup on a Durst 2000W head.
    It uses two powerful blower motors. You may want to look into something like this rather than a computer fan:

    In terms of packaging, the optional external fan for the Durst condenser head (for 300W and more) looked like this. Pretty simple setup.

    I have an extra Devere 108 blower. I can ship worldwide, but the blower is bulky! PM if interested.

    Hi
    I have this Dichromat 108, the blower is big and very heavy and is external and connected to the Dichromat with ducting, I have mine in the attic above my darkroom, I will try and get a couple of dodgy digits and post them.
