    Thomas Duplex Lamp confusion

I'm looking for a replacement (backup) lamp for my safelight. I've rebuilt the filters and just want one as a spare. I've looked at several sources on-line as well as doing some general searches and found prices from $75 (Amazon but rated at 240VAC) to $400. All appear to be similar but do not post spectral data. What is everyone doing?

Have you looked at Freestyle ?

Not dirt cheap, but not exorbitant.

I believe a very fair price.... At least the bulb is still available. When I bought my Thomas years ago, I also bought an extra bulb for it. Cost was just a little less that Freestyle's current price.

Thanks. I saw those and used the Naked Photographer's method to rehab the filters.

According to the specifications of similar bulbs, you could leave it on 24/7 for nearly two years.
