    Power not on CPP3 Jobo

    Hi Friends

My Jobo CPP3 has been very faithful to me but right now it will not power up.. I spoke to Cat Labs and they suggest the problem is the fuse, (just recently replaced control keypad)
Omer tells me its inside the machine... as I have 10 thumbs it is not obvious to me how to take it apart.. has anyone taken off the housing of a CPP3 and if so can you help me by explaining how you did it and
    is it an easy job.

    thanks

    Bob

Hi Bob, did you get the Jobo working? I've got the same machine, no problems yet.
    Best Regards Mike

I had no power problem on my new CPP3. I got instructions to push the reset button (on the left side of the machine), which helped. For some reason the system security had gone to safe mode and resetting helped.

I had my CPP3 shut down just once, unknown cause. I turned it off and rebooted it worked fine. The thermal breaker is a nice feature, even washing out the machine with hot tap water will trip them.

Re: Power not on CPP3 Jobo

In a past life I owned an antique lighting business. I received a phone call from a panicked customer that her lamps which had recently been delivered didn't work and the governor of Illinois was coming for dinner and EEK, HELP, I don't know what to do!!! I got in my car, drove for about an hour to get to the house and flipped the wall switch that controlled the outlet the lamps were plugged into and there was light.

Always check that the switch is in the on position....
