11x14 Improved Empire State View camera

Is there anyone out there using one of these? In the late 1970s on into the mid 1980s, I owned one in almost unused condition. Used it often and came to love it. I was fortunate to have a couple of boxes of 11x14 Super-XX and a 14” f/7.7 GOERTZ DOUBLE-ANASTIGMAT in an ILEX #4 back then. The camera is gone but still have the 14" optic. Since then I have yet to see one of them up FS.

I have one, although I haven't used it recently. Right now it has a 12"/21"/28" Turner Reich triple convertible on it. Surprisingly the 12" covers although with no rise/fall. I have also used it with a 19" APO Rinse and a 30" Kodak Process Ektar. After having some mishaps with a Majestic tripod I usually use a Saltzman tripod, even in the field. I have both 11x14 and 8x10 backs for it.

There's both a Gundlach Korona and Seneca 11x14 on ebay right now. Both are decent cameras and have the extension rail.

yup, I've had one for a few years. bought it thinking the big back would the missing back for the century I have (and was missing the back ). It didn't fit, but the ES is a lot more portable than lugging around a semi centennial stand!
