    Jeff Wall

This may be old news for some, an Art21 video from 2016. It was interesting to me to hear him talk about how he came up with his images. They are all staged and very controlled, and yet he will make hundreds of exposures to get what he likes.

Thank you for posting it Pieter.
I like the work of Wall a lot (unlike the one of Gregory Crewdson).
Pressing the shutter is the only easy thing

For me, Crewdson's work is a bit over-the-top romanticized/cinematic, over-produced and obviously staged and posed. The scenarios are stiff and kitschy, too in my opinion. I guess that is part of his intent.
