    I put a single layer of gaff tape on my Majestic 6X7" head for traction AND use 2 screws if possible.

    A single Grade 8 - 1/4/20 bolt is very strong, no ULF camera will break it, if used properly

    I have been using a Kessler Crane Kwik Release Receiver with a Kessler Crane Kwik Utility Plate for my 11x14 Chamonix and this combination I find to be totally secure and stable.

    It is not perfect as I struggle mounting big flat bottom camera on it

    I would like a bigger version with a wider sliding lock surface and engagement

    Best feature the MANY 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 female thread which enable 2 male screw BASE mounting making strong anti-twist

    I use the longest top plate, which allows 2 screw to some camera
