Kodak oXYgen 2.6.4 for Eversmart Supreme

Is oxygen 2.6.4 only running on Macs with a Intel Core 2 Duo or even on a Mac Pro with a 2 x 2.8GHz Quad-Core?
I am running my Supreme with a Ratoc FR1SX Firewire Converter and a mac mini but would upgrade to a Mac Pro if possible.

Yes, it does run on that CPU, cant speak about the other one
I believe it is not the type of processor that is important but the version of the OS

It seems like Virtual Machines with PCI Passthrough would be a real boon to maintaining these older scanners with obsolete interfaces. Instead of having old hardware lying around you could use a modern PCI, possibly with a PCI Express to legacy PCI adapter plus Virtual Machines running whatever old version of Mac OS you need etc...
