Linhof Kardan Studiokamera/Knuckle 1951 KardanColorTriplex8x10 parts repair questions

Updated: Received a Linhof Kardan Studiokamera 8x10 from Europe - Knuckle version with smooth tube monorail - 39 1/2 inch (100.33 cm - 1003.3 mm) long monorail - about 1951/1952 or so production. The Kardan Studiokamera 8x10 utilizes three knuckle knobs on each Standard to loosen - pull out with spring tension for movement and tighten - release spring tension on knobs at desired position - to accommodate axial swings / and additional tilt movements in addition to a bakelite knob to secure each Standard to the monorail. Later the Kardan became altered as the Linhof model Kardan Color Triplex 8x10 that has a track under the monorail to move the standards along. I already have a Linhof Kardan Color Triplex 8x10 sometime around 1962/1964 production. My questions concern the repair or replacement, or correct glue or if a weld / braze is suggested to adhere the outer textured turn metal knobs to their respective threaded stems. One of three metal knuckle knobs is detached - broken inner brass threaded screw off of the interior back surface textured knob - middle knob Rear Standard. The main brass screw seems to have retained most of its length though detached from the knob - the threaded screw appears to be fully extended. The brass screw appears to possibly have yet a smaller screw inserted inside? the hollow interior of the now exposed interior of the rear Standard middle knob position. The higher top knuckle now functions - pulls out to allow swing - axial rotation in both directions as well as spring back into 0 position - all rear Standard. All the Front Standard Knobs do not pull out to release movements. The lower Knob both on the Rear Standard and the lower Knob on the Front Standard appear slightly bent off alignment. Also, the metal tightening knob flat head on the Front Standard for the Compendium rod attachment broke off in shipping - some kind of metal alloy. The threaded stem for tightening the Compendium is inside the shoe mount, barely rising above the top - minus the metal flat head. The flat head which I have but suspect will not take well as a strange alloy to glue to the threaded stem to tighten down the Compendium. The threaded rod to track the geared focus forward and back on the rear Standard is bent just beyond the full insertion into the rear Standard as well as it does not engage at the most posterior geared position. A push with my hand is required to move the geared movement anteriorly - forward through the first 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) movement. Probably the geared insert rod that is bent could be straightened on a Multi-Jaw Rotating Vise. Any suggestions on repair or available parts? What oil or lubricant might be suggested to attempt to unfreeze the Knobs that do not pull out. It might just be the length of time, oxidation on the metal surface, some bonding of the metal surfaces from not being moved for fifty years, or I think less likely some small rust is present on the interior. Does anyone know of a diagram depicting the interior mechanism of the circular base on the Standard along with the spring release design to the screw attachment?

    Looks good!

    Too bad parts are impossible

I snatched up any parts for my next gen asap early last decade

I assume you have seen here my 5X7 and 8X10

I highly suggest watching Funny Face https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funny_Face carefully for action on Saltzmant Camera stand which allows the big rig full movement from floor to ceiling

Thanks!, Tin Can. Yes, in a prior post on a Linhof Head question. Both your Linhof cameras are impressive you have as well as the huge restored Deardorff! As well - I found and purchased quite a bit of parts and accessories for my Linhof Kardan Color Triplex 8x10, next generation after this Linhof Kardan Studiokamera/Knuckle 1951/1952? camera.
