    I've done this as well. Coupled with the worm clamp and gasket material. On another (Beseler CB7, I used 1/8 inch hardboard drilled the hole with a Forstner bit (sorry, don't remember the size) and secured with a couple O-Rings and the worm drive hose clamp.

    Sure. JBWeld is six dollars at hardware store or internet.

    This ring would be impossible to find cheaply. I paid only $50 for the lens so JB Weld was the obvious solution. Came out neatly and I hand painted it with Krylon Flat Black sprayed onto cardboard. Easy Peasy

    Works with heavy lenses too. No other way to mount this projection lens. It's just a beast
