    Marvel-Flex Sears TLR - Ciro-Flex model A

I found a very simple TLR camera on the big auction site a few weeks ago - a Marvel-Flex TLR camera with a Wollensak lens in Alphax shutter. After a few hours of work, all is functioning well and ready to shoot.
Loaded with a roll of Kodak TMax 100, the roll was exposed in a Fort Worth salvage yard. The sun was intense and I was sweating bullets, but it was a fun time. The image quality is as expected, not critically sharp, but certainly enjoyable with this lens character/limitations. Most images were made at f/8.

Feels great to get out and have fun shooting with a simple tool.

Anyone else shoot with a Marvel-Flex or Ciro-Flex and the Wollensak lens - please post some images!

Great camera!!! Sturdy, no nonsense... I used one as a sole camera years ago, and survived much travel...

Suggestions are to replace GG with brighter one, cut a square of velcro larger than red window, goo down, and another square as cover to prevent fogging... Bottom film roller on mine did some minor scratching until I polished it and freed/ lubed roller pivots... Steel camera can rust under paint, so maybe stripping spots where it's rough under finish...

    FUN!!!
