Any suggested tools for business transactions?

Not the greatest with words so don't want to draw it out or anything. I've been trying to organise some photo shoots for local events and businesses. Is PayPal still an appropriate service to use for such transactions or should I be looking to a more business orientated service? Been out of the financial loop for awhile!

Depends on you circumstances (country, VAT status etc.).

Where I live, B2B is normally done via bank transfer which is easily done online, cheaper for all parties and safer for the recipient.

While I ran a business, there were several better alternatives to charge by credit card other than Paypal - they even provide inexpensive card readers - but would only make sense if you do it reasonably often.
There is a fierce competition in this market niche in Europe, and may be in yours as well, so check it out.

I use quickbooks and etransfer for all our transactions, if sending money internationally wire transfer through the bank.
