Help me with Paint

I am making a huge Pinhole/convertible/lens camera

I want good matte black inside

Dirty white matte outside

Surfaces are new Baltic Birch plywood

Prefer no spray and low smell

At least 60 sq ft inside and out

Maybe rental spray outside as it covers fast

Box is 2X2X3 feet +

The camera back was delivered today, the rest in a week

Later a nose cone bellows

I have some flat black spray paint from the big box store, it works well.

I also got some Black 2.0 off eBay, which is the flattest, blackest paint you can buy.

More expensive, but also works well, especially on non-metallic surfaces.

I've also used Stuart Semple Black 2.0. It's my go-to for interior retouching in cameras, and it is really nice and matte, but it looks like you would go through many expensive bottles of it to cover the amount of space you're looking to do.

Another thing to look at is EMF shielding paint, which is also a matte black. (I mean to say, there is a kind that uses carbon for the conductive element, which is matte black. Other shielding paints might be shiny silvery coppery, depending).

I wood! prefer to roll paint on the panels before assembly

However, I worry that will be bad for glue and screw, lessening glue adhesion, does that blue masking tape interfere?

I will be glueing 1/2 sq hardwood dowels at all intersections, then paint

What glue is recommended?

You could roll the paint on before assembly, getting as close to the edges as possible, assemble, and then touch up the corners with a brush after it’s put together.

I would use either Titebond or Elmer’s carpenters glue. Lol, I buy it by the gallon, right now I have Elmer’s because that’s what my local hardware store had at the time. I like the Gluebot glue bottles. https://www.fastcap.com/product/glubot-family

For the Baltic Birch plywood I'd use a Satin Polyurethane on the exterior but that’s just me.

This is more like a chest than anything else

I tried to find 'off the shelf' nothing was heavy duty

I almost cut holes in LN SINAR Shoulder Pack box, but not the right size

Have you considered blacking the pinhole with candle soot? Should be easy to do.
