    Shanghai 4x5 availability

    Hello

Is there a shortage of Shanghai film availability? I used to see this film on multiple formats but now I don't see it anywhere. Had decent experiences on the past so thought I would try it but can't find it anywhere.

    Has the company gone under?

    Marcelo.

I think it's a supply chain issue due to Covid. China is having major outbreaks and going into lockdown to try and curb them. Apparently the ripple effect on workers and shipping is only just starting to seriously impact the outer world in these last few weeks, although obviously the effect of the pandemic has been felt long before, particularly in the building industry. Back stock has run out, presumably, and the people to package it and transport it are either sick or isolating.

I do not know whether this website, which appears to be the company's own sales outlet, is a reliable vendor. But FWIW:

Thanks, Oren. I've never even looked for their own site before as it had always been available on the auction site.
My only experience of Shanghai GP3 100 is in 120 a decade ago which I happily used as a camera testing film without any issues. I see it's gone up $5 Australian since then (almost double the price), but in 'real' money, that's only two or three dollars.
Good to have access to the source, so thank you again, Oren.

I bought some Shanghai 220 film from their website (above).
They were very responsive, no issues
