Comparing the Reveni Labs Spot Meter To My Minolta F

Not a "how to" video. Just me playing with the Reveni, alongside my Minolta F. I stuck in some pics shot with both meters, and give the Reveni thumbs up or down at the end. I stuck the thread here, as I'm using medium format...

    Hi Andrew.
Great - my sort of product review.
Common sense and deals with the basics of what you want a meter to do.
    Thanks
    Martin

Thank you, Martin. I had fun playing with it. I might go out with it again with the bit of knowledge that I have gained.

Nicely done Andrew! Seems like an interesting device.

Here is your fellow Canadian Todd Korol's take on the Reveni meter—

When comparing to my fuji xt30 meter I get similar readings and Todd did too. However his targets in the video are very large and so were mine ( grey road) so it seems the main challenge is measuring the target properley

Interesting, but probably not for folks with only one good eye. Like me.

Your videos are always fun and informative, Andrew, and I thought this one was fair. I have been using a Reveni Labs Spot Meter for a month or so and generally agree with your assessment. It can be a very convenient tool if its benefits and limitations are understood. The AAA battery addition is a must have!!!. And the users manual, available online from their site, is very helpful as you get to know the device--or if you are considering buying one.
