D23 1:1 JOBO Multitank 6 Etone Tank Roller, Omega DII Omegalite 180mm black Rodagon laser aligned. Arista #2 RC paper Dektol 1:2. I like this new Plaubel Mini-Me View Camera. It is FUN to use; the homemade Makina rotating Viewfinder works great; I can see the camera movements, focus or not focus, on the tiny screen. This lens passes it's initial test

I exposed a few roles of film but did not come up with anything in B&W to rival Darr's use of selective focus.

I also experimented with a soft-focus lens with a Fuji GFX 50S, with the subject being what was left of a lily after it dried up and partially disintegrated. For this shot I used a Pentax 67 soft focus lens and a short extension tube. The soft focus lens that I used (120mm f/3.5) is an old design apparently similar to an early 19th century lens. The lens is very sharp at f/11, but has nice soft focus from f/3.5 to f/8. I made the attached shot at f/5.6, and then enhanced the image in PS.

Very interesting ... how do you manage to get an x-ray image of a flower? My little brain thinks only of the big - and presumably inaccessible - medical or NDT machines.
