    Re: About PRIOX enlargers

    Welcome.

I had a French pen friend in the UK in the 1950's.
I moved to 17th century French speaking Quebec in 1968 but couldn't master the Quebecoise with my high school French.
In 1970 we bought a Renault 16 and my wife and I traveled all over Europe for 5 months - Renault "diamonds" were everywhere.
Kept the R16 till 1982 when it was "traded" for the Le Car (R5) which we kept for about 2/3 years.

    Hello,
they are enlargers manufactured in France in the 60s for the formats 9x12cm and 13x18cm for certain models. Simple, robust and heavy (so stable)

(caveat: not sure if this 9x12 cm enlarger actually accommodates the 4x5" format, may be late models only? )
if you replace the original bevelled glass plates of the negative holder by straight-edged plates, it works!

Hello! Nice to meet you. I liked Marseille a lot, was there several times for work. Several years ago I was even seriously thinking of getting a small house there for vacations, was even checking house prices in France here but left that idea later on.
