    Jobo CPE2 lift question

    Hello! Lurker, first time posting.

I purchased a second hand Jobo CPE2 with a lift and I do love the consistent results I get using it. It is in overall good shape, temps are pretty close, motor is nearly silent. However, I've run in to a problem.

The clips on the lift nozzle I use with my 1520 tank were broken. I got replacements. From what I can tell, the nozzle assembly has to be removed to get to the clips. However, the transfer gears are in the way. The gears on there seem to be in backwards from the way the manual says they should be so I took the lift off. I expected to see something like the 95200 cog wheel where there's a clip you squeeze together to get the cog off:

However, the transfer gear has no clip on either end as installed, so I'm curious has to how it got installed or how to get it off.

Thanks in advance for any help. I feel I am missing something obvious.
