    Congratulations! As I understand from Kerry Thalmann, these convertible Symmars have a bit larger image circle than their Symmar-S counterparts. It was something about the shutters

    This lens came in barrel mount as well. Great lens in every way.

    Matched Pair Sinar Norma 300mm f5.6 chrome Symmars 5x7 TLR Norma camera great for portraiture. 4x5 Reducing Backs and Reflex Viewfinder make it true TLR. I'm leaving this camera set up in the studio.

    Very nice. I'd be interested as to how it works as a 500mm. I tried my non-convertible Schneider lenses as convertibles and the results were horrible.

    I as well. I need to get make a lens board for it for my Toyo 8x10. I am saving ip for an 8x10 from Chamonix. I might be able to make it work on my 45H-1

    Hi Steven
    I hope you have a lot of bellows! when converted to 500mm it will take a bit more than that to focus at infinity..
