    The photos are brilliant.
    The answer to the question "how do you achieve your look" is perhaps the most cogent and elegant discussion of Edward Weston's concept of composition as the "strongest way of seeing"

    Thank you guys, I'm moved.

    Pieter, That's the plan. The book will be called, The Palouse in Winter. The photographs are all done, but I'm trying to do some writing and that's difficult for me. Trying to answer the "why" of it (Why the Palouse? Why in Winter? Why do I photograph at all?) has taken me far afield, but I'm hoping to pull it all together in the end. Wish me luck!
