Focus accuracy vs speed on 4x5 for studio portraits - rangefinder vs Groundglass

Well I've just been checking all the lenses and cams on my Technika III and am very excited to start shooting some portraits using only the rangefinder and the Multifocal Viewfinder.

Some actual film testing will be done with the 6X9 Rollex back (which sadly overlaps frames a bit...) and then if everything seems happy I'll try some 4X5.

With any luck the Linhof will become a nice 'creative respite' to my digital workflow shooting big construction.

So far all the cams seem 'pretty' accurate (yes all matching numbers camera/lens). It will be very interesting to see how they work in Press Camera mode... and if I can reasonably work with the camera without tripod. She's certainly a tank.

Cool, thanks for the link Daniel, that Gowlandflex is a real treat to see. Nice lighting session as well.
