Thread: Has anyone here used the Standard Cameras 4x5 monorail camera?

Question Has anyone here used the Standard Cameras 4x5 monorail camera?

It's a lightweight 3D printed 4x5 monorail camera. The Kickstarter shipped cameras to 162 backers in August of 2019. So far, there aren't any reviews or articles on the internet that I can find. Only a few videos by the creator, Drew. Also, there aren't any cameras on the used market.

Their Instagram features some work by owners of the cameras, but I'd like to read someone's first-hand account or watch a detailed breakdown about the experience using it.

What do you love about the camera?

What do you dislike about it?

How does it compare to other 4x5's you've used?

Is the portability as good as you expected?

Do you regret the purchase or highly recommend it?

For those who aren't familiar with these cameras, Drew Nikonowicz/Standard Cameras is one of the Camera Makers listed, with a link, in post #1 of the forum thread Large Format Channels on YouTube.
