Thanks Daniel. It's quickly becoming my favorite portrait lens. I also have a newly-acquired 180/4.5 Xenar that I still need to mount and try out. Wonderful bang-for-the-buck lenses.

I have Xenars in matched pairs from 105mm to 300mm (barrel chrome lenses). For 4x5/9x12 and 5x7/13x18 I can't imagine better choices for the money. My median price for these in barrel is $50/$100 each so I can afford quite a few

If you can find a nice 240mm it's also worth having if you favor just a teeny longer. I have three or four in different mounts
