    Here's a shot of my son and his fiance.
    Speed Graphic, with Aero Ektar.
    HP5 WAY overexposed, but under developed.
    My first time altering development, but I realized after shooting that
    I had HP5 in a holder labeled rpx25.
    The usual dust/fingerprints/etc.
    F2.5 at 1/1000 In Rodinal for 8.5 mins, 50-1

    Neil, what a marvelous portrait!

    Ansel Adams (surprisingly to some) wrote about making so-called environmental portraits in which the setting is more metaphorical than literally connected to the subject's profession, avocation, etc. I find this an excellent example of that principle, something I hope to bring to my own work as I begin picking it up again. Thank you for this bit of inspiration.
