Solvent for Polaroid print coating material

I made some pictures using my last box of Polaroid B/W material today, and naturally the coating goop got all over my fingers. I was surprised to find out that naphtha doesn't touch it. What does dissolve that stuff?

Any why couldn't the Polaroid Corporation find something to make those little applicator pads out of that doesn't leave little bits of schmutz all over your prints?

Polaroid didnt know that there are stupid people which do not smell the awful ingredience and are unable to handle the tiny pad and pulling it smoothly multiple times over the surface. there are instructions and if one hasnt one could google. Mine is still not dried out after many decades 80ties. at least 35 years back.

The data sheet in the acerbic post above seems to suggest that isopropyl is the solvent used in the applicator. It may work to remove the residue.
