    Abandoned Japan Coal Mine Video

Hi guys, put together a short video showing some of the images I made over the years for Japan Tanko Fan Club's members. Let me know what you think. Thank you!

Thank you, Monty. I found the box of gloves leaning on a wall, outside in the shade. The lighting was perfect. Couldn't resist.

I really like the third image with the top of the steel tower in lower left and a wispy cloud in upper right. It evokes the departing spirit of the mine for me. And the gloves. And several others. This is a nice collection.

How do you get access to these properties?

Thanks for sharing this with us Andrew.
I can almost hear the noises that must have filled the place.

    Nice images; well done!

My favorite is the photograph of the gloves.

I've added Andrew's YouTube channel (Analogue Andy) to the sticky thread Large Format Channels on YouTube. See post #1.

Andrew says in the most recent post in the thread (#64) that he intends to make a video about an 8x10 shoot planned for today, British Columbia December weather permitting: https://www.largeformatphotography.i...=1#post1626604

Thank you! It's a long story, but the gentleman in charge of Omuta city cultural heritage, gave me a key. I still have the key , and he and I are good friends to this day.
