    Re: 8X10 Portraits

I visited my mother during the Mother's Day weekend, and she graciously agreed to let me take her photo (as quickly as I could!) in the front yard of her house in the Adirondacks. At 91, she has had a rough couple of years, in particular last year when my father died, her husband of more than 60 years, and her memory is slipping significantly. It is a treat any time that I can be with her, and get a picture of her. This is a scan of the negative. I had a chance to get to the darkroom yesterday, and the contact prints did very well indeed.

I like it. 800 ASA Fomapan 200. Very impressive. Better the film speed with 8x10 outdoors. 15 minutes is a long time with HC110. Lovely posing and has a very nice almost retro vibe to it. Well done!
