    Gas Light

For the pure joy of seeing back in time I came across some very old paper recently. I imagine this "gaslight paper" was used prior to electricity.

Anyways I figured you guys and girls would enjoy the old designs and throwback to an earlier time as much as I.

I plan to try a few. Although maybe I'm being too precious, but feel like they belong in a museum.

But the museum would have to display the paper itself in the dark.

Must have been a gas light like an old Coleman lantern.

Gas lights that ran on 'city gas' were very similar to old Coleman lanterns.

My firm designed a low-cost propane lantern for Coleman back in the late 80's. Quite a change from our usual fare of medical equipment, electronics, photonics and software.

I have always thought Coleman White Gas 2 burner Lamps were way too bright and noisy

I have the tiny one burner Coleman Lamp always ready

    It is also too bright
