Let me guess. I probably need to revise something for sake of compliance with the Nitpicky Bureau of Largely Irrelevant Standards. The GC actual effective focal lengths (vs advertised) runs like this : 151.2mm, 208.2mm, 238.1mm, 267.8mm, 304.9mm, and 354.9mm. The Fuji A's run: 178.2mm, 237.9mm, 299.4mm, and 359.1mm. Is that nitpicky enough for y'all, or do we need to still convert that into angstroms, decimal cubits, or whatever?

Nice try, but no cigar. Where's that 250mm G-Claron? This would be easier for you if you hadn't placed me on ignore and would read what I post.

I have been photographing with this lens for several years. I got it complete with Wista SP 4x5. He was pleased with the fact that he could be inside a folded chamber. It turned out to be too sharp, contrasting, "prickly" for me. I used it mainly on long trips, in combination with Congo 90/6.3 - Symmar 135 / 5.6 - Fujinon A 180/9 - Nikkor Q 300/9.

    Later I changed the lens combination "Symmar 135 / 5.6 - Fujinon A 180/9" to "Fujinon W 150/6.3"

How do you like the Fujinon 150mm f6.3?
I had one once. It sure was small and light -- great for backpacking.
I tested it against a Fujinon 150mm f5.6, and the 5.6 was so much better I sold the f6.3.

But back to the Fujinon 180mm f9.0. That's so small and light -- great for backpacking -- that I usually bring it. Great for close and far shots, as you know.

Orograph, my son did two trips to Georgia-not-USA a few years back, singing with a Vermont-based group called Village Harmony (group that tours different countries with host-country singing group) - and he has a photo that looks just like yours above...taken from a hillside.

    At any rate...nice images!

    .
    I did not have Fujinon 150mm f5.6.
I studied various information regarding Fujinon 150mm f6.3 Then I bought it and am very pleased with the result. To be honest, I can hardly tell it apart from my Heliar

    Sorry of off topic.

You're lucky to get a shot of Hanging Lake before the fire. It's now re-opened -- with a STRICT limit to the number of visitors.

Nice shot. Better than mot I've seen -- which are ALWAYS in color.
