ISCO Kiptar 2,9/170mm in Compound shutter

I have had this lens since a long time but now I realised to mount it into a shutter.
The Kiptar is a fast lens for projection and it is a classical Petzval design but much cheaper than the well known Atelier Schnellarbeiter, Darlot or Euryscope lenses.
All Kiptar lenses are coated. Mounted in a tube barrel only, no aperture.
I have to cut the tube and short it of the length of the shutter, here 37.00mm for the Compound III.
Than I turn adapterings with the Compound threads, I made it in brass because it harmonizes better with the aluminium of the shutter.

I made a few sample shots with it. 9x12cm sheet size, xray film
First picture taken with f/2.9 and the second with f/8

Very cool, both the images and the work on the lens. I prefer the f8 image. Can you provide an image of the adapter rings you made?

Hello Arri! Please tell me is this a good petzval? Is this a beautiful petzval? Does it have a characteristic rendering (spinning) for the petzval? Thanks for your understanding, help and answer! Please accept my handshake! Oleg.
