Fujifilm QuickChange Film Holders

I have one of these holders and I'd like to know whether anyone has experience with them and an opinion.

The few references that I've come across say that they were primarily sold in Japan. I gather that they came loaded with eight sheets of film, but they are reusable with any 4x5 sheet film. The holder seems to be fairly sturdy. There appear to be only a couple of brief references to these holders on this forum.

This 2013 video appears to be the only one about Fuji QuickChange Holders on YouTube. There are a couple of viewer comments on YouTube suggesting to the fellow who made the video that he do some things differently:

Surprised that nobody appears to know about these holders. Lends credence to the idea that it was a Japan-only domestic product. Taking a shot at bumping the discussion.

Robert White sold them in the UK. There's a remnant of his website page for the product in the Wayback Machine - the pictures are gone but the text is still there:

IIRC Badger Graphic imported them gray-market to the US.

Never tried it myself when it was available because I've never shot large format color transparency.

The second link in Japanese says that these holders were made from 1996 to 2005. Robert White wanted GB£95 for the holder. It could only be purchased with an eight sheet packet of film. White wanted £34 for eight sheets of Provia 100 F.

If Robert White and maybe Badger Graphic were selling this holder, I'm surprised that there appears to be almost no-one on this forum who is familiar with it. It would make sense that the holder that I have came from Badger Graphic.

Good info in both links. White says that it's like an improved Grafmatic. The holder that I have is in new condition. I'll have to try it out.

I have several of them, originally bought a couple from Robert White and later some more second hand. Also Christoph Greiner sold them in Germany. I find the Quickchange holders quite reliable and useful, especially when traveling or backpacking and need to reduce weight save space.

Back then (twenty years ago) I copied and saved instructions for Quickchange usage. It was on f32 web site which is now gone. I have it as a PDF-file.
