Talking A good find on a fanny pack to carry 5x7 film holders in field

I have been searching for a bag that I can carry on my hip or as a fanny pack with minimal number of 5x7 film holders during my hikes and outings. I have one that I can carry on my shoulder, but that's a pain. It seems I have found what I was looking for. Here is a link to Carhartt Cargo Series Hook-N-Haul Hip Pack, Large on Amazon.

I have no connection whatsoever with the maker or seller of this product and definitely not Amazon. I am sharing this just so that someone else may benefit.

I can comfortably fit two 5x7 holders, tightly fit three and squeeze in a 4th one in a bind. The bag has several pockets and meshes that may also come handy to carry filters, cable release, wipes etc.

Are you aware that “fanny” has a VERY different meaning everywhere else on the planet than Northern America, aren’t you?

    Cool!

I lucked into a zippered bag on a wide strap over the shoulder. The dang thing can swing round awkwardly when I am not moving on flat ground. The upside is that it does swing around to my front when I need stuff out of it. And holds 5 to 6 holders, the Pentax spot meter, and filters, field notebook, and a food bar or two (about 14" long, 5" wide and 7" tall).

It can be nice to work with the 5x7 without having to put anything on the ground or taking a pack off to set the camera up and use it.
