Thanks Oren! Some very interesting and strong work on his website—I'll explore more when I have time.
At the end of his beach portrait series is a photo of him with a different 8x10 camera. And a short video— https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBKJIhGOKj4&t=8s
Thanks for posting. I’ve enjoyed his work very much.
It's good to see that he's still working.
I'd dropped in on Stephen D. and Frank Armstrong a few times at Clark University...where they run a truly stellar photography program, with great facilities for both analog and digital. Very active with lots of students present working on various projects.
Stephen and Frank also wanted to offload an 8x10 Durst enlarger...but it was too huge for me to transport - much less fit into my darkroom! Oh...and a horizontal enlarger also, sliding atop what looked like railroad tracks - again, too huge!
Stephen has a great video of himself and his dog...which is happily lying down as Stephen drags it by its leash across the grass! A bit disconcerting to watch...but the dog loved this!
At any rate...I'll plan another visit at some point, and in the meantime I hope they're doing well.
