    Pop-up darkroom...

...or, why carry a changing bag when you can have an entire changing room?

Its the new polaroid. Develop your ULF negative on site to determine if you need to make adjustments. My actual darkroom isn't much bigger.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

I wonder if the bigger market for this is people that can’t dedicate a room at home for a darkroom, so want to be able to setup and tear down the darkroom when they’re done?

Yes, it certainly looks like this is what Harman/Ilford has in mind.

you can also get cheap grow tents in various sizes on amazon. just turn the fabric inside out.

Looks like a good wet plate tent.

That's what I was thinking - wet plate or direct positive paper.

I'm quite interested in your use of the grow tent as a darkroom. The Ilford tent, as well as the one you show, look a little small for what I want to use - Besseler 45MXT. I have been looking at various grow tents and they look quite suitable.

The big question I have is how well will these tents work when turned inside out. Most of them look plausible but getting feedback from the manufacturers is more than difficult. I also plan to mostly use it for digital conversions but still need occasional darkroom access.

Has anyone else used this approach?
