    Scitex/Creo Eversmart restoration

Newbie here. Occasionally got this scanner in 99% working condition and want to bring it to work. My problem is that it had burned main motor, which I found on ebay and replaced. Now it tries to move during tests but immediately fails with 'Main motor problem' error. When I go to calibration software I can manually move carriage but it also fails to calibrate. I narrowed down this to two possible issues: 1) current measurement of stepper driver reports wrong current after burned motor situation 2) there are no position report of a carriage (any ideas how it reports ?)

Looking for a service manual or good advice
