    It allows for very precise vertical movement & adjustment. On my unit there was no slop that I could detect. I use larger Kaiser Slimlite, since I also have several 5x7 negs to view - nice unit. Oh, and the lens has to be aligned properly to the light table....it takes some tweaking.

    find an enlarger in the trash n adapt it to hold your camera.

    It's getting harder and harder to find enlargers, many are already in the landfill.
