    UV light source

Maybe this is old news, but some of you alternative processers might be interested in the UV light source sales pitch here: https://mailchi.mp/inkjetmall/01-07-...7?e=25be6ba575

    Re: UV light source

Looks very interesting, indeed, and a good sales pitch but the 365nM LED strips on the site seem to be effectively out of stock. I've experimented a bit with the 395nM 9W Barrina UV LED lamps but have found printing times for salt, for example, to be quite a bit longer than expected (30 minutes and up seems to be required, at least for my negatives). More strips, less time, obviously, but ballpark I'm curious how many of these 5' LED rolls might be needed to cover a 16x20 printing frame?

On the InkJet Mall site the Vermont Photo 'VerifiedUV' fully assembled UV printers show the LED strips placed quite close together (and priced accordingly). For the LED strips purchased separately they list sample mounting distances of 22mm, 11mm, and 3mm apart, so if DIY'ing I guess one could start with wider spacing and add more strips if needed.

BTW, the extruded aluminum T-slot frames for those assembled printers seems like a good solution (maybe not as heavy as they look?). Never thought of that.
