LEE filter Wide Angle Lens Hood repair

Hi all,

I have a LEE filter Wide Angle Lens Hood and the metal trim on the front has come off as well as the rear part where it mounts to the camera lens.
It looks like the original material to hold it in place was some sort of double sided adhesive material.

I am wondering if I could use double sided tape to repair it.

Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would suggest a high-quality tape such as 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape. Many types available, but for example:https://www.amazon.com/3M-Tape-4910-...87920627&psc=1

I would shy away from standard, stationary-store type double-side tape.
