That's a great city (I kicked around quite a bit visiting kin in Towson when I was a grad student at PSU.) You certainly won't run out of subjects, and Maryland itself reminds me of the UK in that it piles a lot of geography in just a few square miles. If you're a landscape photographer, I'd recommend exploring some of the "blue highways" that meander north into Pennsylvania...certainly some prosperous looking farmland on the horizon.
Welcome from a Washingtonian and ex-Baltimorean (did my time at Johns Hopkins for my undergrad, then stuck around Baltimore for another five years afterward). So many things to photograph there, and so much change... It's not the same city I knew when I was there in the 1990s.
