    Hyperion Lens Company

Does somebody know more about the Hyperion Lens Company, the creators of the Hyperion lens what I think became later known as Gundlach Hyperion Diffusion Portrait lens?

    I'm curious..
https://www.antiquecameras.net/softfocuslenses3.html says the Hyperion came from the Gundlach equal diffusion but is a different year's model.
They are really nice lenses to use if you're into soft focus.

The last statement is a speculation of course (given little information available) but I really doubt that Gundlach was able to get away with naming its own soft focus lens after another soft focus lens and the timing appears to be right.
