Something wonderfully romantic about the old wooden cameras, I think
The Graflock back is the heaviest part of the camera, need to find something lighter.
I love giving life back to something that was well used, they are a little more cumbersome than their modern equivalents, but still functional.....and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I picked up a 6x10 increasing back that I will change to 8x10 and make it fit the Sanderson.

Made the adapter, cut to allow 8x10 film holder, made the pressure plate. Just need to cut a 8x10 window for the ground glass, make a 8x10 ground glass and paint....fix light leaks.

    Made a 8x10 ground glass.

All finished, the focal length of ground glass to infinity seems correct, cant find any light leaks. Can see lens on all four corners.

Just need to make a new fixing for the front standard to lock in @ 250mm infinity. Luckily the front standard can swing backwards to achieve.
