    Hello from Florida

Hello again, I guess I kind of jumped the gun on making an intro post, and just dove right into properly posting. Ah well, better late than never. I am new to large format photography, and relatively new to photography in general. I started into photography about a year ago with a 1918 Kodak No.1 Jr, to this day I have still never touched a 35mm haha. I have always been fascinated by Graflex SLR cameras, and I am fortunate to be the custodian of a number of them. Their size and complexity is greatly appealing to me, and the bulkier the better in my eyes. Though I have dragged my feet on actually moving to large format. I had engineered a couple adapters to use 120 film out of 3¼x4¼ rollfilm holders, but it got to a point where I simply got some sheet film and started playing with it. I hope to learn a thing or two from those around who have more experience than I, and I already have learned quite a bit.

Here are some pictures I have taken with my Kodak No.1 Jr

And here are a couple of my Graflex cameras (a 20s era Graflex 3a and an early 1910s Press Graflex) with my little kodak on the left for reference

Pritcher, that looks like a beautifully maintained old home. We have an organ like the one shown, but not quite as sculptural in some details and probably in worse shape.

You can certainly learn richly and continuously here; it's an experienced, serious, and generous community.

I am working on my private, but I have not gotten far. I do like the prospect of flying though

Thanks, I restored that organ a year or two ago, one of my other hobbies is music, and I play the organ.

My hat is off to anyone who can restore these old instruments, or any cabinet-making skills, really. I stick to the other keyboard shown.

The piano is nice, I learned to play on one as most do, I found my niche in other instruments though. I do wish I could play the boogie woogie on the piano though.

Also just realized I could add more pictures in the replies, so here are some non black and white pictures of that organ.

    Re: Hello from Florida

Welcome to the forum - I am fond of the Graflex SLR's as well, though have only one. Here is a page showing some mods I did on mine, as well as some images made with it.
Where in FL? I was born in Pensacola, my brother retired in Navarre, and much of my distant family...what's left, are scattered about the state.
