    Return from the dgital wilderness.

I was lightly active on this forum ten years ago and actually never left large format. I'm still shooting 4x5. I've just been occupied with work and my photography and hiking the Canadian Rockies and the gym and working on the back yard. Social media has never felt comfortable to me, but this forum was never about collecting 'followers' or obtaining 'likes'. It's been very refreshing to read the posts again. I won't be posting a lot since I seem to have more to learn than I have information to share.

I have come to distrust the digital wilderness by default, contrary to the principle of innocent until proven guilty. In any case, the real one has lost none of its appeal, nor has the physical path of straight film photography. Welcome back.
