    Oak Alley on Ossabaw Island.
    Milddle Road on Ossabaw Island, a heritatge preserve barrier island near Savannah, Georgia.
    Photo taken April, 2012 with a converted to 720 nm IR Nikon D800, with a 50mm Nikon lens.

    Thank you, Peter. Ossabaw Island is a beautiful place. The little road you see in the picture
    is the north to south road on the island and dates from about 1720 when the island was first logged for the live oaks to serve the shipping industry. It is said to be one of the oldest roads in the US in continuous use.
