An IR image captured in the Caurel Mountains of Spain in 2014. Here I have printed it in carbon transfer, with a old vintage type color that I like to use in my carbon work.
Sony a7r converted to IR, kind of a grab shot in pouring rain and quite cold, great for the tones but not great conditions for making photographs. I processed as a monochrome, the colors come from the printing process.

The Caurel Mountains are in the eastern part of the province of Lugo, in the autonomy of Galicia. Very beautiful region, especially in the spring and fall, with very low population density, almost a forgotten part of Galicia/Spain. In the language of the region, which is gallego, similar to Portuguese, the region is known as the Courel.
This photo was taken almost at the border of the province of Lugo in Galicia, and the autonomy of Leon to the East. I have been there several times, but this trip was especially spectacular due to fall foliage and the beautiful lighting conditions.
