    Not sure except to say it could be the remains of a pulp and paper mill. There are 6 other larger, cylindrical digester tanks at the Port of Bellingham, WA, that was part of the pulp mill.

    Well, I got a new lens. It was on the list of lenses that are deemed good IR lenses. So, I took a chance and bought one. Plus, I wanted a wider lens.

    Tested at my favorite place. Went from f5.6 to f22. Used the 850nm filter to really stress test for hot spots. Never found a spot, even at f22!

    Now, to go out and really use it!

    Looking good, Jon! That was my main wide angle lens from about 1994-2021. I had to retire mine as it stopped focusing. Otherwise, I'd still be using it.
