Not sure except to say it could be the remains of a pulp and paper mill. There are 6 other larger, cylindrical digester tanks at the Port of Bellingham, WA, that was part of the pulp mill.Originally Posted by Peter De Smidt

These seem like they should be launching into space!
Well, I got a new lens. It was on the list of lenses that are deemed good IR lenses. So, I took a chance and bought one. Plus, I wanted a wider lens.
Tested at my favorite place. Went from f5.6 to f22. Used the 850nm filter to really stress test for hot spots. Never found a spot, even at f22!

Now, to go out and really use it!
Looking good, Jon! That was my main wide angle lens from about 1994-2021. I had to retire mine as it stopped focusing. Otherwise, I'd still be using it.
